Services Medical, Sanitary and Health Education for the Canteiro Population

This program guaranteed health conditions and medical care to the population directly connected to the Plant construction.
During the construction period, the staff had at their disposal a health work team consisting of two doctors, one support team, one health worker and one social worker. Trainers of multipliers on Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) were also promoted, in partnership with the Tocantins Blood Center to recruit blood donors and implemented the Medical Occupational Health Control Program (abbreviated in Portuguese as PCMSO). The actions of this program are complete.
